Who is your target audience?

They are the people who are most likely to be interested in your content, products, or services. They are likely united by some common characteristics, like demographics and behaviors. As you develop your target audience definition, don’t be afraid to get highly specific.

What is an example of target audience?

A target audience is generally associated with a business’s marketing message, which highlights advantages and benefits of a business’s product or service. Examples of a target audience are “company employees, society as a whole, media officials, or a variety of other groups” (Tambien, E., n.d.).

Why is it important to know your target audience?
