Writing on the sides of Buildings
What is the side of a building called?
A wing is part of a building – or any feature of a building – that is subordinate to the main, central structure. The individual wings may directly adjoin the main building or may be built separately and joined to it by a connecting structure such as a colonnade or pergola.
How do you describe a building in descriptive writing?
Talk about the exterior and interior features that can make it unique and interesting. Include any stand-out features of the building, such as a special roof or a beautiful view. Some other things to consider for describing a building’s exterior are the shape, color, style, and material used.
